This is a forum to find out about and give evaluations of USEA horse trials and events -- define what really IS "average, for horses with some experience at this level"!

Mayfest Preliminary:
Fences: 1

Straightforward, good move-up course, although a move up in early spring in area 8 doesn't always make sense!
The jumps are straightforward and inviting, nothing terribly technical for Preliminary. In 2005 there were no bounces, for instance, and only a small corner. The water was moderately technical. The course was wheeled very generously; it was easy to make time.
Great move up course, or for first timers for BN and N. Time has never been a problem here for me. Great stabling, and a very well run show in my opinion!
