I'll start. This is a fabulous event -- literally from the ground up. NOWHERE in the USA (and I think I've ridden enough places to be qualified to say that!) will you find better footing than this, particularly in July, thanks to the above-and-beyond aerovating done by Katie and crew. The terrain is very flat, but with sharp turns on course, from field to field, or around/between trees. I've only ridden at the upper levels here, but I can say that those divisions are EXCELLENT move-up courses. All the level's appropriate technical questions are asked, but they are presented in a way that sets the horse up for success. For example, a difficult combination will be built just off a turn, or with a straightforward single fence in front of it, to make it easier to get your horse organized and ready for the challenge at hand. And, if you can't answer the question successfully, you'll definitely have a runout and (rightfully) lose your standing in the placings -- what you WON't do is cartwheel over a fence or shake your horse's confidence just because the question couldn't be answered.
The facility is gorgeous, the arena footing is great, too.
The show jumping is known to be BIG and challenging. I mistook the prelim course for the advanced one, it was so big.
My one complaint, as a camper there, is that for being such a fancy facility, you would expect it to have public showers or bathrooms with running water somewhere on grounds. Nope.

Big, gorgeous, fair XC. The best footing, hands down, anywhere in the country over the summer (and likely some of the best footing you'll ever find). The Prelim is fair and builds the horse's confidence throughout, plus has one of the most fun bank complexes ever (Up a ramp, up a bank, one stride, down, one stride, down).

Stadium is ginormous. This is a stadium course that takes its toll: jumps are huge and come down very easily. Clean rounds are rare.

Gorgeous facility, great parties. A true destination event.
