I did the Spring 2006 (Novice) and really enjoyed it. Stabling was nice (not temp stalls) and we were able to park the trailer very near by, which made it convenient. Warmup was great -- nice footing and lots of room, although busy (across the creek and well within sight of SJ and SJ warmup). SJ was a fair test with good-sized fences and some good turns (although nothing like the upper levels which were much twistier). XC was fair overall, but I thought started extremely small (fences 1-4 were tiny) then suddenly we came of a good-sized bank with a hard turn to a decent-sized bench. It rode better than I thought it would, and the water was a good one for Novice -- jump, then 2 strides into and through the water, out the other side with a sharp turn to the ditch -- but it rode very, very well. For those keen on scoring efficiency, they did an excellent job getting things posted in a timely fashion.
