Went to Winter I in Feb, ended up scratching because of the rain, but still rode dressage and walked XC.

The dressage rings are either grass, sand, or red clay (yucky when it rains!) and there is plenty of warmup room. Really well run with all the stewards in the know about the order.

Prelim XC had some big tables and an early combination that was logs into the woods, 4 or so strides to a really narrow skinny shared with Intermediate, jumping back out into the sun. There was also an airy trakehner, an offset combination, a boathouse, several strides, drop into water, then out over an angled fence. A turning question to a skinny with no wings, a coffin with an angled first element, and a bounce up bank. I didn't get to ride the course, but it looked like a lot of fun!

Terrain: 1-really flat
Jumps: 3
Distance: not sure
